MechaTronix offers customized production for almost 100% of the metal and plastic parts you need in the field of Industrial Electronics. Either made by stamping, extrusion, injection, turning, milling or whatever process is required, we offer a state-of-the-art process flow starting form design support and drawing (2D and 3D in SolidWorks) over prototyping until mass production and setup of your logistic system.
For existing designs, please provide your digital files in STP, Pro-E, SolidWorks or Autocad format, preferable together with a sample. For new design, either we can work from your drawings, or in case no finalized drawings are available this can be done by our team.
Time lines for project development:
Quotations: 2 to 7 working days, depending on the complexity of the project
Rapid Prototyping (with molds):
- Plastic SLS/SLA/Vacuum molding: 1-3 weeks
- Sheet metal laser cutting: 1-2 weeks
- CNC Milling / Turning: 2-3 Weeks
Molding manufacturing:
Plastic injection molds:
- 6-12 weeks depending on the complexity of the design
- Stamping & forging molds: 4-6 weeks

Sheet Metal Housings & Chassis:
- Sheet Thickness: 0.6 to 22mm
- Punching/NCT: 0.6 to 3.5mm
- Laser cutting: 0.6 to 22mm
Extruded Housings
Metal thickness 1 to 45mm.
Physical limitation in width single extrusion= 500mm, hollow extrusion= 300mm
The main advantage of extruded housing is that you can design the inner and outer shape completely independent of each other. In this way, you can foresee the PCB sliders and bended shapes, etc in the design. Also the thermal performance in general is much better than sheet metal housings. For each design, and extrusion mould needs to be manufactured. Mould cost depending on the design between 800 and 12,000 Euro for the extrusion moulds. Extrusion moulds take 6 to 8 weeks of production.
Die Casting Housing
For more complex design where extrusion or sheet metal is not an option. No physical limitations. MOQ depending on complexity of design, but minimal 1,000pcs. Die casting moulds take 7 to 10 weeks of production. Mould cost depending on the design between 4,000 and 18,000 Euro for the die cast moulds.
Plastic Injection Housings & Chassis
Same as die casting, plastic injection moulding has almost no physical limitations.
Plastic injection moulds take 6 to 12 weeks of production, depending on the complexity of the design.
Our standard moulds are guaranteed for 200,000 shots. Other steel types available up to 1,800K shot.
Our injection machines are quite unique in Taiwan and range from 75 to 1,530 tons.
With this, we can inject up to product sizes of 1,200x1,200mm!
Besides the mould manufacturing and injection moulding, we specialize in secondary processes like painting, screening, tampon printing, EMI coating, insertion moulding, press fitting and UV welding.
